How to find the perfect Wedding Venue that represents YOU
How to find the perfect Wedding Venue with your vibe
Aesthetics: Looking at potential Wedding Venues, you’ll want to make sure the over-all vibe or look of a place matches your vibe as a couple. For example, if you’re a couple who loves fishing, being outdoors, & exploring in nature, naturally you’ll want a Wedding Venue that reflects those things. Tree House’s vibe is a casual elegance that embraces nature. The modern architecture is simple, clean, & pairs well with the outdoors. The natural beauty surrounding the venue is very Florida. Think lush gardens, beautiful oak trees, rows of tropical palms, water views, and always green.
Location: Places are super important. This is a place you’ll always remember with the fondest memories. You’ll have a connection to the town you got married in, well forever. Maybe you want to be married in your home town. Maybe you’re looking at a town that has a special connection for you, like visiting a beloved family member for years. Maybe you’re looking for a place that’s completely new to everyone, a chance to explore & see new sights. Vero Beach is all of those things. If you’re from here, you know. Vero Beach is a super rare unique hometown where roots run deep. If you’ve got a special connection to visiting Vero, then you also know. But finding Vero is reallllyyy something. It’s not a tourist destination. Vero is a quaint, seaside town with local flair. There is virtually no traffic, the beaches are pristine & wide open with no crowds. It’s filled with Mom & Pop business’s and hometown food. There is free parking everywhere and many family friendly activities. It’s easy to get to with major airports within a very do-able driving distance. There are world class hotels, cute boutique motels, and tons of airbnbs.
Amenities: Tree House has on site getting ready lounges, bathrooms, a catering kitchen, an open-air reception space, furniture (including tables, chairs & linens), a cute bar, an outdoor fire-pit and 10-acres of private property. As far as vendors go, this is where you need to decide what’s important to you. Are you an all-inclusive type of traveler? Or are you a DIY couple who likes to put the pieces together? At Tree House, we offer both. We can appreciate both styles & we know that different seasons of life & different types of family dynamics call for different methods. If you’re looking to simplify the wedding planning process and go with all-inclusive in-house services, we got you. We offer Wedding Planning, Wedding DJ, Wedding Bar, Wedding Florals, Wedding Catering, and more! If you are wanting to incorporate your favorite vendors and use who you want, we like that too! We can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you want us to be.

Sustainable blooms at your Outdoor Florida Wedding
Sustaining Mother Earth through Sustainable Blooms
Earth Friendly Blooms
This season I got the privilege of designing lots of wedding florals. As many of you know, Tree House is home to a micro-flower farm. It all started with a few flower beds of zinnia, dahlias, and of course, our flower field with cosmos & Florida natives. Ppl started asking, “Can I use your flowers for our wedding?” Me, “I can do that.” So- Tree House Florals was born.
I’ve learned a lot this season- mainly that designing for a wedding takes LOTS of blooms. Soon, my flower farm was picked clean & I had more weddings to fulfill. So I tapped into my local flower community and met Pura Vida Flower Farm. Natalie & her family are farmer florists whose farm is about 10 mins from Tree House & a match was made in heaven. Throughout the season, I picked from our garden, ordered as much as I could from Pura Vida, and foraged our 10-acre farm.
Turns out flower arrangements made from using local blooms are nothing like people are used to seeing. The new & different varieties, bright colors, and superb quality of freshly picked flowers, can’t be beat.
For Jenn + Kai’s wedding, Jenn gave me artistic liberty & said, “I trust you to do whatever you think.” Wow, this makes creating 1000% more fun & easier! Our plumeria tree was in full bloom so I decided to make a lei for the sweetheart table on a whim as a surprise for the couple. When you are a florist & an artist using natural nearby things it’s easier to respond to the moment.
Supporting our local farm & Pura Vida is SO MUCH BETTER for Mother Earth. When flowers are purchased through wholesale, blooms are flown from all over the world. I’ve received boxes shipped from Ecuador, Holland, Costa Rica, & beyond. It hurts my heart opening these boxes & thinking about the fly miles, the packaging, and the toxic chemicals sprayed on flowers to make them last that long to still be alive. Sourcing local is here to stay.
